A New Joint Initiative in Jewish Children's Education
Temple Israel and Temple Adath Yeshurun are thrilled to announce the launch of our combined Jewish Learning Collective of Manchester - an exciting joint initiative that brings together the resources, expertise, and classrooms from our two neighboring communities.
The Jewish Learning Collective will be open to members and non-members alike and is a weekly religious school for children grades K-8. School meets Sundays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm from September to May.

Exploring Jewish Heritage
Our students embark on a journey to discover the rich history, traditions, and customs of our Jewish roots, fostering a deep connection to their community and its values. Through stories, songs, and hands-on activities, they develop a sense of pride and belonging to their Jewish heritage.
Developing Hebrew Reading Skills
We guide our students in mastering the Hebrew alphabet and developing proficiency in reciting Hebrew texts from the Siddur and the Torah. As they progress, they become comfortable in reading and reciting Hebrew with confidence and accuracy.

Our program lays the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning. Students develop essential skills and values that extend far beyond the classroom. By emphasizing Jewish values, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence, we empower our children to grow into compassionate, curious, and engaged members of their communities.
